About WordArc

WordArc is a calm word search game for iPhone and Android. This site is its free companion: a fast word unscrambler, word lists, a word checker and a daily word search you can play in your browser.

How we build the tools

Every search runs on your device against the ENABLE word list, so results appear as you type and nothing you type is sent to a server. There are no pop-ups, and nothing is ever placed between your letters and your answer.

Word list and definitions

Words come from ENABLE, a public domain list of about 172,000 English words. Short definitions come from Wiktionary (CC BY-SA) through the Free Dictionary API.
